FAQQ. How is Karma different?
A. Karma provides a unique mix of sought after fun, philanthropy, networking and hospitality access. There are many organizations around the world that excel in one or two of these areas but Karma has developed a robust system for combining all four elements into a cohesive lifestyle for discerning executives and entrepreneurs around the world.
Q. How can I get involved?
A. Via invitation by a Member or from a Karma Executive Member. You are invited to complete the membership application for consideration by the membership committee.
Q. What is a Karma Roundtable event?
A. Karma Roundtables are held semi annually around the United States. Roundtables provide a dynamic platform for effective and efficient networking by allowing members to target other members of interest during formal introduction sessions and informal cocktail hours. Roundtable sessions provide an opportunity for members to introduce themselves individually and address the chapter members regarding opportunities and interests they have to share and/or are seeking. The personal ambiance fostered by the invitation-only access affords an amicable environment for members to directly network with like-minded individuals, thus providing a very dynamic networking platform compared to traditional mixers.
Q. Is Karma open to both ladies and gentlemen for membership?
A. Yes. Both ladies and gentlemen are welcome in Karma.
Q. As a member, can I bring guests to Karma events?
A. Yes, one of the privileges as a Member is the ability to invite guests to our social events at luxurious and famed locations, including private mansions, cruise ships, nightclubs, casinos and resorts. Total number of guests per Member is subject to ticket availability and venue policy. Roundtables are reserved for current Karma Members and in order to preserve the privacy and integrity of Roundtable events, Members are only permitted to invite one qualified candidate Member to attend with them.
Q. Is Karma a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization?
A. No, Karma is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) business networking organization providing entertainment and business services to its private membership base.
Q. How does Karma benefit philanthropic causes?
A. For each major social event Karma selects a noble charitable cause to benefit from the proceeds. Karma receives input from the Board of Governors and the Member Philanthropy Committee to determine which charities to benefit. Good Karma comes full circle in our lifestyle of sharing and caring.
Q. Are my annual membership dues and event tickets tax-deductible?
A. Karma is primarily a business networking entity; as such a portion or possibly your entire membership dues may be tax-deductible dependent upon your specific circumstances. Please consult your tax professional.
